I owe where I am today to the professors and my many friends at Taylor, who worked tirelessly with me as I asked question after question slowly helping me towards a place of deeper understanding.

The professors here care not just about making you a good computer scientist, but also helping you become a person who can help others, make the world a better place, and live a life that glorifies God.

At Taylor, I love that I can have tight relationships on my wing, in my major, and with my professors. It’s great that while I’m being mentored by older friends, I can also pour into younger friends.

Even though it can be easy for colleges to stay in the academic world, Taylor’s CSE department’s curriculum has a very solid focus on application to industry.

Taylor’s degree requirements prepared me well for graduate school at UNC. I came in with a solid background, and felt prepared equally well in both theoretical and systems-oriented courses.

After just one year here, I have already grown a great deal in my Computer Science abilities. I am excited to make even more progress as I learn from this department!

My Taylor computer science education – especially the Systems curriculum – serves as the foundation for my career. Everything I have since learned seems like an extension to some aspect of my Taylor education.

Taylor is special in that it cultivates deep community and lifelong friendships. Taylor gave me a craving for real community that has changed the way I relate to others today.
